Blessings joyful MasterMinders!! I wanted to share my latest success with everyone.

Prior to Christmas holidays, I got the nerve to contact a man I have been interested in for quite some time. We never dated before, and we haven't seen each other for 15 yrs. So to say I was a tad nervous? A resounding YES! I emailed him and we agreed to have lunch (I asked him if he was interested in lunch) after the New year. Well last Thursday I decided to call him rather than emailing him. And yes, I almost chickened out, but my inner voice was telling me I already dialed the number do not hang up. This is your FUTURE!!! We figured on a day, now I just had to come up with the location. Egads! Once selecting the location he replied, "that's perfect." And now all that was left was to wait until the specified day.

Today we had lunch. I wasn't as nervous as I expected, but I also asked for Divine Guidance to be there and help me....deep breathing was involved too! LOL I also wasn't sure about 2 things...1) I asked him to lunch, therefore, I should be prepared to pay; and 2) how do you go about seeing about a second lunch? And I know I can hear Mary telling us, "Do not worry about the HOW's....." LOL

Well we go to place our order. I went first and ordered a salad with dressing. When he placed his, he told the waitress he'd have the exact same including the dressing. Now I ask you...WHAT ARE THE ODDS of that happening???? In my mind I was like...OMG!!!! Did that really just happen?

We talked and got caught up a little but mostly on current issues; a little from our high school days, and then the check came, he promptly picked it up and paid. Awkward moment #1 satisfied. Then he says we'll have to do this again and definitely when I get back from my cruise. Awkward moment #2 solved.

So yes....I am on CLOUD 9 at this most elated moment in my life. And am looking forward to many more surprises with him!
