How To Use eMail Templates

If you want to use the current week's Newsletter as the basis of a mailing to your opt-in list, as an Affiliate marketer you are entitled to do so. Use the HTML found in the text box below as a starting point, then follow these general steps to use it as a web page or HTML-based mailing.

1) Step one is to make sure you have your "Re-Direct URL" set to: http://www.makeadifference.com/Success/a_message.htm That way, no matter where your potential customer clicks on your affiliate link, they will be taken to the online version of this email message, after being 'tagged' as your customer.
2) In order to use this method of creating a mesage for your potential customers, you need to have learned some basic skills. We will help you as much as we can as a group, but we will not be able to assist you individually in learning the basics of web marketing. There are ample free and low-cost resources available to help you get started. The important thing is your initiative and willingness to put in the time and effort to learn what you need to know to do this.
3) You will need an HTML editing program that allows you to look at the coded message in a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) format, and you will need a bulk-mailing program, system or service. Your normal email reader/writer does not have the capability of composing HTML-based mesages. There are dozens of good WYSIWYG HTML editors. I use a suite of website building tools, but it is not neccessary to have a lot of expensive software to get started. Many ISPs (Internet Service Providers) provide web-building tools as part of their web hosting package, and these all include some form of WYSIWYG HTML editor. Or, whether you have a website or not, there are many very inexpensive email marketing providers who will host your list and handle the bulk mailing, and they also provide WYSIWYG tools for creating messages.
4) Above is a "Text Box" containing the HTML code for the message displayed below. The advantage of putting the HTML into a text box is that the exact formatting and characters are preserved for you to 'grab' without your browser interfering (ie: trying to translate or re-format the code) and it puts the code "behind the curtain' rather than spreading all over the front of this page. The starting point for this process is a simple copy and paste. Select all of the contents of the text box - [Ctrl][A] - and copy it to your clipboard - [Ctrl][C]. Then paste it into your WYSIWYG HTML editor.
5) Every link in the message contained in the text box above has been set to an afiliate link. The actual email we are sending out to our subscriber list, of course, has links to the various products and movies, etc. So, for this all to work, a copy of the 'original' message has been put on line at this address: http://www.makeadifference.com/Success/a_message.htm - and that is the address you MUST have in place in your Affiliate locker "Re-Direct URL." To review how this will work: you send your copy of this message to your subscriber; when they click on anything in the message, they are 'tagged' and re-directed to the same message online; then, when they follow any link in the message, they are yours. >> IMPORTANT << So you must edit the HTML found here to change the 'generic' affiliate code of '12345' to YOUR Affiliate Code before sending this message out.
6) The end result: you have a beautifully composed and graphically rich message to send to your people. And they are then directed to our site with your code.
7) If this is all too complicated for you, then consider the 'simple' alternative described at the bottom of the Intro page: As an affiliate, you can simply re-direct your link to our latest online email message by setting your re-direct link to this address: http://www.makeadifference.com/Success/a_message.htm Each time we update the online message to our newest emailing, you will be updated with it. All you have to do is send a message to your list, giving them your affiliate link, and they will be re-directed to the full-color message - and wherever they go by clicking links in it, they are identified by your affiliate code. To use this method, simply send a message (it does not need to be HTML) containing your Affiliate-Coded link, inviting them to view the 'color graphics version' of your message. Then, when they go to read it, they have already been tagged with your link before they go off shopping. What could be easier?

In the Presence of Love ...
Each person's core purpose in life is to be loving. Love and compassion don't solve problems, they just get you into the best frame of mind and heart to reach beyond where you've gone before, to find new, creative, peaceful and healing solutions.
Mary Rowland in her book Dare to Believe! has described how you can double the good in your life by simply putting love first:
"If you are not attracting the good that you desire in your life, learn to express love; become a radiating center of love; and you will find that love, the divine magnet within you will change your whole world ... when your heart is filled with love you will not be critical or irritable, but you will be divinely irresistible."
Florence Scoval Shinn wrote, "Every man on the planet is taking his initiation in love." To which Catherine Ponder concludes: "Whatever your problem, it is but a test in love. If you meet that test through love, your problem will be solved. If you do not meet that test through love, your problem will continue until you do! Your problem is your initiation in love."
Christmas is the time of a new birth in consciousness ...and a return to that which created each and every one of us: Love.
With peace, comes love. Peace can be found in the silence.
Sometimes we may feel it is just too hard to feel love, let alone express love. It is times like this that you can reach for compassion first, understanding second. These two simple pre-emptive steps will get you to place of peace. From peace, love flows easily.
This holiday season, simply try putting compassion first. No matter what the situation find the compassion. Whether it's about money, relationship or job dissatisfaction, health, weight ... any and all situations in your life where a solution has not been found, simply be compassionate with yourself first, compassionate with those involved second and you will feel the world light up with new inspired solutions because, and to quote myself from my Make A Difference with the Power of Compassion Gift Book & DVD:
Research about the brain reveals that compassionate thoughts literally light up the frontal lobe of a person's brain. (The frontal lobe is where the mind can access solutions.) When we are resentful or angry, there is no light in that part of the brain, and so we shut down and fail to function well. As soon as we deliberately think compassionate thoughts, this part of the brain lights up, and we can literally go from “impossible” to “possible” in an instant.
Whether you are devoutly religious or deeply spiritual, an atheist, an agnostic or a skeptic, when you simply decide to think compassionate thoughts, the power of the feeling that is ignited is palpable. The connection is instantly available and deeply real.

We received a phone call this past July from a family whose father had just passed away. Apparently, throughout his remaining months in hospice, he had watched our A Silent Night Movie every day to bring him comfort. They were calling to purchase it to play at his funeral.
