What is a "Moviecard" and how does it work?
- A "Moviecard" is an electronic greeting card that plays a Flash movie when you open it.
- The sender gets to add a message below the card that is personalized for the recipient or for multiple recipients.
- The personalized message below the card can be formatted and may include links, images, clip art, logos and even videos.
- The Moviecard system will use the sender's name and email address in the "from" address, assuring that they will open it.
- The Moviecard system will use the recipient's name in the "to" address, further assuring that they will open it.
- The Moviecard system will also insert the recipient's name into the subject line.
- You can send Moviecards to many recipients, one at a time, each personalized for the individual recipient.

- Reminders - Store all your important dates so birthdays, anniversaries and other special events will never be forgotten, through our Reminder Notification e-mails and cell phone text messages.
- Favorites - Store all your favorite cards in 1 convenient location for easy access
- Card History - View all cards sent in the past 30 days, with option to cancel/re-send cards that have not been delivered yet.
- Birthday Alert - Set birthday alerts by asking each of your friends to enter their birthday. Their birthday information will be saved to your Address Book and you will receive an email reminder when your friend's birthday is near

Is a Moviecard Membership Free?
No.
- Full Membership and use of the Address Book, History, Reminders, tec. is a valuable service which requires considerable resources and customer support.
- We ask Members to contribute $9.95 for a full year of Premium service.

How do I become a Moviecard Member?
Membership is a two-step process. The payment of $9.95 is required for a one-year membership:
- First, you create a User Profile on the Moviecard Membership system:
Find and click the red [JOIN NOW TO SEND] button in the top right corner, or at the bottom of a Moviecard you are viewing.
- Fill out the form.
- Submit the form.
- The next page will give you a red button for [Secure Checkout] which will take you to a secure payment system administered by 2CheckOut.com - one of the largest Internet payment systems in the world.
- Complete their payment forms and when finished click the button to return to the Moviecard Membership system.
- You will then have immediate access to sending Moviecards!
- YOU WILL NEED TO LOG IN TO THE MOVIECARD SYSTEM BEFORE YOU CAN SEND A CARD

How do I change my email address?
You can change your email address by doing the following:
- Click on the [Log In] button on the top right of the page, and enter your user name id and password.
- Click on the {My Account} link in the box on top left.
- On your 'My Account' page find text box User email address and enter your new email address.
- Our system will auto save your new email to database right after you enter new email and click outside the text box

How do I change my password?
You can change your password by doing the following:
- Click the [Log-In] button on the top right of any page, and log in using the name and password you already established.
- Click on the {My Account} link in the box on top left.
- On your 'My Account' page find and click button Change Password

I have lost my password. What can I do?
You can get your password by doing the following:
- Click on the [Log In] button on the top right of the page.
- On page 'Login' look for icon

- Enter your email to the text box and click Send Password button

How do I cancel my Make A Difference Moviecards membership?
You can cancel your membership by doing the following:

- Select [Cancel My Membership] for the Department and enter your request to cancel in the body of the message.
- Be sure to enter your correct email address so we can contact you.
- We will be happy to assist you in making this as convenient for you as possible.

How do I import a contact list.
First, watch the "Getting Started video on this subject for a walk-through.
- You need to have a "CSV" - Comma Separated Values list.
- The address book or contact list system certainly has an export function that will do this for you
- You will need to organize the list in this order: Email,FirstName,LastName,NickName,PhoneNumber - (Email,FirstName,LastName are required)
- If your existing system cannot deliver it to you in that order, use Excel or another spreadsheet program to open the CSV file, re-arrange the columns, and save the file.
- LOG IN. Then go to the [y Address Book] link and click the [Import List / Add or Edit Contact Group] button.
- We recommend that you create groups of 20 addresses - to match the per-send maximum of 20 recipients.
- Click the [+ Click here to add new group] link (in the gray bar) to create new groups.
- Or click the little icon under the column heading "Add to This Contact Group"
- Paste in the text list from the CSV file you created above, and click [Add Contact].

Sending, Receiving, Viewing Moviecards
How do I send a Moviecard?
These Help instructions are on a new browser window so you can refer to them while going through the steps:

Click the [Log-In] button on the top right of any page, and log in using the name and password you already established.
If you do not remember these, use the email address look-up field at the bottom, and the system will send these to you.
If you have not joined yet, click the [JOIN TO SEND] button, where you can start the two-step process to join.
- Return to the Moviecard Membership homepage after you log in.

Once you are logged in, there are two ways to browse for a card you want to send.
1) The [Browse All Cards] link, found in the box on the left or at the bottom of the page, takes you to a page where ALL of the Moviecards are displayed on one page.
2) The [Select Category] list of buttons on the right show you the Moviecards grouped by category, one category at a time.
- Click on the picture of the Moviecard that interests you, and it will open and play the sample.
- If you would like to save this card to your favorites list, click the [Add to Favorites] button.
- If you want to choose another Moviecard, click the [See More Moviecards] button.
- Click the red [Personalize This Moviecard For Sending] button at the bottom to personalize your card.
- Enter the details asked for, such as the recipient's name and email address and card message.
Read every line of the page so you know you haven't overlooked something before you decide you can't figure something out.
- To see what your card will look like to your friend click the [Preview Moviecard] button.
- When you are happy with your card click the [Send Now] button to send the card to your friend.
- You can send to up to 20 Moviecards at a time, as many as you want, for a whole year.

How to send a card to more than one person?
- Review the answer above for general instructions.
- To send to more than one person, look for the "Recipient Information" section:
[ Number of Recipients ]
- Change the "1" to any number up to 20, and additional entry fields will appear.
You may need to scroll down to find all of the new entry fields if you choose more than 3 Recipients

How to pickup a card?
- You will receive an e-mail stating that someone has sent you a Moviecard. In the e-mail message, there should be a web page link (URL) which you can click on to automatically receive your card.
- Or you can copy the Card Number provided with the email and enter it on the card pick-up page. Find the button on the homepage [ Pick Up a Moviecard Someone Has Sent To You: Click Here ]

How do I view/delete a greeting I have sent or scheduled to be sent?
I cannot view the eCard
All of our Moviecards use an enhanced animation called Flash. To view these greetings, you will need to have a Flash plug-in. Please make sure you have a current version of 8.0 or higher.
You can download the Adobe Flash Player for FREE by clicking here.
After installation is complete, please go to the link provided in your original email. The greeting will automatically play from this point.
Some parts of the Moviecard Membership system use a java applet. You might need the java plug-in as well. Click here to download Java software.
